I’m back to quarantine and online school!
India is being hit with covid’s second wave, harder than last year and well, nothing much is being done to stop it! I went back to online school and this time, it’s much better than last year.
Other than all the negativity going on around, I read so many amazing books and music kept me entertained all month long!
If you are able to, please take some time to check out this document and consider donating to help India recover from the pandemic. Any amount, as less as $10 could be of huge help to the people in need!

Welcome back to Prutha screaming part who-even-knows-anymore!
2020 me would be shook to see that a contemporary has become one of my all time favourite books because till just a few months ago, I did not pick up books with romance whatsoever but here I am, crying over Counting Down With You!
When I came across this title and saw that it has desi rep, anxiety rep and the fake-dating trope, I was instantly sold. I would have sold my kidney to read this one ASAP but thanks to the ARC gods, I was able to read an early copy of it! If you follow me over at my Twitter, you must have seen me scream about this book nonstop, even my display name is counting down the days till it releases 😎
Today I’m super excited to review Counting Down With You and hopefully persuade you all to pick this one up yourselves or at the very least, add it to your already long TBR!

Kindly grab a box of tissues because this book is the definition of CUTE
I’m not even joking, the amount of serotonin I got from Made In Korea was unreal.
Made In Korea was one of my most anticipated releases for this year and after reading an early copy of it, I can proudly say that it is definitely in the top 10 for my favourite 2021 reads! Everything from the amazingly developed plot and characters to the cute and awkward romance, this book made me want more. I’ve written a more coherent review on Goodreads so if you are interested in my thoughts on this book, you can read them here! I also have a K-pop playlist that I made for Made In Korea which you can check out on Spotify here!
After I finished reading Made In Korea with my friend Katie and sending too many out of context screenshots to my IRLs, I knew I had to interview Sarah, because I simply couldn’t get enough of the book! A huge thank you to Sarah for doing this interview and without further ado, let’s get straight into it!

I have an obsession with ARCs…!
I would be lying if I said that I don’t go on netgalley and edelweiss every single. There is something about getting approved for an ARC, being all excited about it and then that exact title sitting unread on your kindle for months.
Let’s be honest, ARCs are pretty cool! Being able to read a book months before it hits the shelves and then providing your opinion on it is not only a great experience for the readers anticipating the book but also helps the author get a head start.
We are only four months into 2021 and *checks spreadsheet* I already have 20 ARCs for books releasing throughout this year and one for a 2022 release which I am super grateful about! So, how do you acquire ARCs? What even are ARCs? Let’s take a deeper dive into these questions!

Time definitely flies…
School has been going on and I genuinely did not notice that it’s already April. Offline school isn’t as bad as I expected it to be. I am actually understanding stuff and it is fun to meet my friends everyday!
March was a LOT. I read a lot of great books and there were too many K-pop releases to count so without any further ado, let’s get straight into the post!
There has been a huge rise in hate crimes against Asians in America so please check out these resources and educate yourself. Consider donating if you can!
